Since she had asked the customer to change their feedback, she was no more eligible for any help from Fiverr support.

You can imagine how we both felt studying this.

What the buyer had said and done before her final message has been now being swept under the rug -- as if never happened at all.

Fiverr basically opted to encourage a manipulative bully, leaving my girlfriend using a permanent stain on an accounts she'd worked so difficult to accumulate.

If everything that happened was not troubling enough, it's knowing that this man or woman is still running rampant on Fiverr, preying on defensless sellers without a shred of repercussion.

And think, there are loads of buyers doing exactly this on Fiverr, knowing they could and will get away with it.

Well, as most this was happening, I did some research to determine whether any other vendors went through a similar ordeal with an individual purchaser.

Quite quickly, I found a range of nearly identical cases over the Fiverr forum dated years ago. (that's right, years.)

This is clearly something that's been going on for quite a while and it all stems from providing buyers also much power over vendors.

If there's one thing I have heard about Fiverr, it's that customers are ALWAYS more valued than freelancers.

Doesn't matter how long that you put into a project, or how hard you've worked on itor maybe how well you managed communication during a dispute, if it actually boils down to it... freelancers have little to no security.

Even if it is a very clear cut case in your favor, there is still every chance the customer will come out at the top. It takes it one little thing you"did wrong" according to their conditions of service and EVERYTHING else is disregarded

Taking a look at the signs, it is clear to me Fiverr is well aware of what's happening, yet remains willing to sit back and let it happen.

If you are a decision maker at Fiverr and you are reading this, then I urge you to seriously reevaluate your current support procedures for freelancers.

It's not right that someone can put all the time and effort in building up an account and over-delivering at every possible opportunity, just to be shot down by the very people you rely on to safeguard you.

Look, I do not need to abandon Fiverr. I don't need to be telling folks to avoid your own platform.

But after everything that's occurred, you haven't left me any decision.

Until something is done in order to safeguard freelancers from using this kind of abuse, I'll continue to spread this post and do anything I can to prevent others from falling prey to a one-sided support team.
